The Terrace Level will be the home to the new Library and Media Center and Makerspace, as well as the existing Upper and Lower School science labs. The expansion will make the Terrace Level the nucleus of our dynamic academic programs, and provide a welcoming kindergarten drop-off area, including a chance for little ones to see their future through glass-walled hallways.

Our library will always have books. But there will also be nooks where kids can study, or meet together for collaborative projects. It will be flexible, open, light. This space is rooted in literacy and research. You need those to be able to be innovative.
— Marsha Nelson, Head of School
